7days
Woah, my family is coming back tml night, a week passed so quickly.
Lots of first times during their vacation. First time washing clothes, feeding sparky, driving to work, having frens stayover at my house and even first time not mopping the floor for 5days straight. =P
Oh wells. Now that some of my frens are having their hols or gonna have them soon makes me envious! DAMNNNNN!
I want a break man. Like seriously needing one. Tired of this place. Literally sick of it. The boredom simply drains life away.
I so feel like sleeping right now. And may this sleep lasts me till my attachment is over. Will it happen? I guess not in a billion years. 2 more months. Seems like forever.
Btw, im in a totally bad mood today, at least for the afternoon just now. But nah! Shant talk abt it.
We're so small. So very small.

Tick Tock
I'm waiting for time to pass,
Sitting here to rot and rust.
Everyday's without a task,
Day after day and it's still not the last.
When you look back deep in the night,
Time seemed to fly at the speed of light.
Months and years have taken flight,
What used to be are all out of sight.
When you learnt that it's time to let go,
What you once so tightly hold.
And you fight it out with the cold,
That's when you realised that you have grown.
Look backward,
Say the words,
Leave the herd,
Move forward.
Sitting here to rot and rust.

Day after day and it's still not the last.

LOL!
CHEK ARK
((tchi’k a’h))
A Hokkien term which has two uses: the first is an exclamation like “what a pity!” and the second is a verb that means to build bad karma, i.e. to do something that will return and haunt you.
1. “He so smart, become scholar, then go and kill himself. Aiyoh, damn chek ark!”
(He’s so such a smart fellow that he became a scholar. However, he killed himself. What a pity!)
2. “Mr. Tan whole day treat his employee like sai like that. He damn chek ark, one.”
(Mr. Tan always treats his employees in a crappy manner. This will come back and haunt him in the future.)
=D

Happy Birthday MOM!
Mom if u happen to read this in Australia, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! Don't worry too much yeah, everything's gonna be fine, the house is IN GOOD HANDS. And for papa if he happens to read, Sparky is well fed and very fat indeed... ENJOY YOUR VACATION!!! Try not to call me too much eh, long distance call expensive, and it's only 7 days, i'm pretty sure i will SURVIVE.
So, being home alone for the first time ytd night. Pretty much a learning experience i guess. Have to remember the do's and more do's, much less of what are the don'ts, though i think i will make some do's into the don'ts, probably the part where i'm suppose to vacuum and mop the floor every 2 days. =P
Ahahaa! So, i hand washed my laundry yesterday, as i'm too lazy to use the washing machine... Oh, and when no1's at home, i actually used my TV as my computer screen and home theatre system as my speakers!!!! HOW COOL? TOTALLY. Playing dota on a 47" is really exciting!
Oh yeah, Sparky's pee and poo is like troublesome. Just one night i cleared 1 pile of poo and 3 wet pieces of newspaper. I MUST REMEMBER TO FEED SPARKY!!! Can't believe i have a checklist to follow for this 7 days... The list is awesomely 4 'A4' pieces of paper filled from top to bottom each piece.
And ytd went to the airport to see my family off for their vacation in Australia! Wow australia eh! I wished i could go, but oh wells, attachment's sucha b***h! They took the A380! Cool leh! Been a while since i went to the airport terminals and it brought me back to a time not too long ago...when tears filled your eyes...
I got to drive to work today! =D
Don't miss me too much and once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

A memorable day...
Yesterday, i was dozing off at work when my major spot me closing my eyes. OKAY, the fact is i did doze off and my head was probably hanging down from my neck then suddenly.
Major Morris: "Hey! WeiJie! You wanna join me for a meeting later?"
WeiJie: *Woke up pretty stunned... Still blur* "Ahh? OH! Sure!"
MM: "Okay, you give me your phone number i call you to come down after my dental appointment."
So i gave him my number, which is like the 3rd time i was giving it to him. Makes me wonder that did he save my number or he forgot that he has my number or did he have 3 phones... HMM. Intriguing question.
So around 10 mins later he did called me down to meet him at the canteen's carpark. WOOT.
Then i went to the carpark, looked around and dint see him and thus i paced back n forth until i spot this familiar car revving up, which my other major, Major Kerwin owns. I knew Maj Kerwin was still in his office as his cubicle is directly behind my desk. THE CAR WAS AMAZINGLY, a PURPLE MINI COOPER.
The windows and windscreen were tinted in a reflective coat that from the outside, it looks like a mirror. So i tried my luck and opened the door. TADAH! MAJOR MORRIS WAS INSIDE! Going into a 150K car was quite an experience. Well the mini cooper was, surprisingly mini. The first thing i did when i got into the car was, knocking my head on the ceiling handles.
So i had to adjust my seat all the way back so my legs could accomodate in that Mini's mini space. Even so, i still had to keep my neck bent so my head wont touch the ceiling. How Mini is that. Mini as it is, its engines are powerful! It accelerates responsively even while on a steep slope, something which my Toyota Altis isn't capable of even in a downslope. LOL.
The suspension was tight too. You can literally feel every grain of sand on the road. Bumpy bumpy ride.
So major morris drove us all the way to Defense Science and Technology Agency, DSTA for short. So on the way we talked about stuff and major morris taught me about this contractual stuff and how DSTA works for the airforce and all. The place was at Depot Road and i found it damn familiar when we reached. CAUSE IVE BEEN THERE AT THE CARPARK B4, IT WAS JELYNN'S HOUSE THERE. LOL. So after i got out the car i go tell jel i at her house downstairs.
Hmm, so DSTA was a big big building with loads and loads of meeting rooms. First up, we went to have a meeting DSTA people regarding some contract issues. And again, politics in the workplace is dominant, especially when 4 groups of people, all coming from a different company, sits down in a meeting room and have the best interests for their own group. Sarcasm thru jokes, double meaning words, deliberate changes in tone, indirect insults... Bla bla... Loads more.
Then after the hour and a half meeting ended, we went to have lunch in DSTA's canteen. Then major morris taught me about the F-16's radar, something which i will have to research on soon.
After lunch, we went up again to meet the ANG MOHS. People from LOCKHEED MARTIN. Again for the benefit of all mankind, lockheed martin is a company which produces fighter jets, the more familiar ones are the F-16s and the space age looking plane, the F-22 RAPTOR.
So how often do you get to meet these people, Overseas Director of LM, Creative Director of LM, Cheif Engineer of LM.... The list goes on. The meeting was a sales talk on upgrading the F-16s in Singapore... It got pretty boring in the middle and i almost... ALMOST fell asleep.
The meeting have not ended, but we had to go off first as MM needs to return the car to MK, so we left before the meet ended! Reached PLAB at around 6pm and headed back home.
When the pieces came together, i have to believe even when i dont want to. I want out.

It always turn out the wrong way
At many times, i just think to myself, what could have been done so it would go the other way.
I can't find my way now.
It takes a moment to see somebody.
It takes a second to say hi.
It takes a minute to hear what they have to say.
It takes a day to build memories.
It takes a month to strengthen the ties.
It takes a year to realize they last.
It takes forever to understand somebody.
Yeah. It takes time and effort to know somebody...
