Yesterday, after having lunch at Makan Place, around 30 mins later, i started to feel itch in my left thigh. I keep on scratching, it wasnt at all abit relieved. IT KEEPS GETTING WORSE. Then cuz i was studying with my classmates, one of them pointed out that i scratch until the skin i scratched turned red already.
Ahh, i was like, okay... This is one abnormally long duration of itchiness in my thigh. Little did i know, the worst was yet to come. On my journey home on the bus, the itch spreaded to both of my thighs, my lower back and my butt. IT WAS SERIOUSLY UNCOMFORTABLE. Cause on the bus, it wasnt appropriate to scratch my back and butt so i just bear with it.
Once i reach home i rushed straight to the toilet and keep on scratching to relieve the itch. That was when i suspected that my pants wasnt washed properly. I did a simple test, soak my pants and kept rubbing, was expecting to find some detergent residue or bubbles. NEGATIVE.
Finding it weird, i bathed myself hard hoping to get rid of the itch. After bathing, i thought it should go away pretty soon, BUT THEN... it kept on spreading around my body.
By night time, my whole body was in a terrible itch and i felt helpless to where i can relieve the itch, after all i have only a pair of hands and the whole of my body was crying out for me to scratch them! OMGWTF.
Dad and mum came back. I told them about it. At first they thought it wasnt really that serious cause my skin has always been problematic since young. OKAY. I also dint thot it was serious.
Late at night, i have been scratching for like 5-6 hrs already, the itch was getting annoying and my hands are all tired from scratching. Wanting to study for CT, but cannot concentrate as every 2 seconds i have to scratch somewhere. Tried ways and means to cure the itch, powder, cream, moisturizer, hot water, cold pack, ice.... Nothing worked. Then i discovered these blistery patches appearing all over the parts i have been scratching all along. Thats when i realised it wasnt something i shud let it pass. I went to show my mom n dad, then they immediately brought me to Thomson Medical Centre. It was like 1230am?
Reached there, consulted the doctor, doctor said it was an allergy. LOL. Like duh. Even a 3 yr old can tell me that. He couldnt tell me why i kena the allergy. So much for the consultation fee being 70 bucks. Anyways, i was administered a jab.
Ok, heres the part you all have been waiting for. The jab was going in, at the butt. So the nurse ask me flip to my side and pull my pants down. I did as i was told. Then the nurse poke the needle in. GUESS WHAT? My natural reflex cause me to swing my leg back and i KICKED THE NURSE LOL! Then she keep asking me relax... Then go tell my mum, your son very long nvr take injection liao? LIKE IMPLYING I SCARED OF NEEDLES SIA. WTH. NOT LIKE I SCARED LOR, ITS REALLY NATURAL REFLEX.
Ok, shortly after the injection, the itch went away. Now there are these red patches and tiny bumps left as the aftermath of the itch. I wonder when will they go away, my body looks like the world's map, red patches of continents everywhere surrounded by biege patches of skin. Haha. Pretty unsightly, i guess might turn some ppl off when they see. =(
Great. Today's SDC paper was a scrap thru. Should be able to pass. =X
GYM BLESS ME FOR APS TML! ARIGATOU.
Did you find out what it is? I've been searching internet for same problem. I goy a steroid shot in my hip and got itchy patch in same area. My baby scratched me pretty hard and I got little bumps there too. I have patches everywhere except hands, feet, and face. Driving me nuts.
