Exchanging Experiences.

Well well well... Time really does fly doesn't it? One and a half months in and I'm really enjoying every bit of this trip.

First off, I am really thankful for these bunch of wildly fun people in our group of 11 (minus 2 actually). I mean, I can't even begin to describe how amazingly friendships can work out when you're overseas, away from the comfort of your regular friends and family. It's the kind of closeness and bonds you forge, akin to family ties, when you spend most of your time here laughing silly, trying out new cooking recipes and just going out on road trips together.

School's been pretty tough I gotta admit. Coming here with the thinking that NTU's academic rigor should be the worst of it, is definitely the wrong idea. Homework and exams here comes by the truckload, and the usual me, who only truly studies twice per semester, is taking a huge hit. Did I mention that I almost failed my first exam for Heat Transfer?

Hmm, strangely enough, I don't really miss home a lot. My mom even texted me to ask me if I forgot about them because I haven't been Skyping back regularly. Well, I guess I am pretty used to staying out by myself. I mean, it will be nice to go home but yeah, I figured I am even more independent now than before because I can cook my own meals and stuff now. Ooops...

Seriously! Can't stop thinking about the upcoming Vegas trip in two weeks time! And now I don't know if I should travel with MX they all after the semester ends....

HOW?
